Specification

The thatch tiles "Versitiles"are made from South African Cape Reeds. A natural product, the Cape Reed is harvested from a replenishable source and harvesting actually promotes growth. Reeds are moulded onto a polyurethane strip. The thatch has a life expectancy of 6 - 10 years.

The central upright is made from a pressure treated machine rounded solid wood log, approx 90mm diameter.

The canopy structure that supports the thatch is made from galvanised steel in four sections which bolt together.

Thatched Parasol as advertised

Parasol kits, starting at £250 (excl. delivery), have a 90mm diameter central wooden pole with a preformed steel canopy to support the tiles which simply clip on. Larger frames are supported on four or more poles.
